My Beauty Journey
Welcome to DGorgeous! I’m Duyen, a professional makeup artist and hairstylist based in Northern Virginia. Originally from Vietnam, I moved to the U.S seven years ago and have been fortunate to turn my lifelong passion for beauty into a fulfilling career.
Though I hold a bachelor's degree in finance, my true calling has always been in the beauty industry. What began as a creative hobby has grown into a profession I deeply cherish. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing the joy on my clients' faces when they feel confident and radiant after their hair and makeup transformation.
As a wife to my high school sweetheart and a proud mom to a beautiful daughter, I understand the significance of life's special moments. Being part of my clients' milestone events - whether it's a wedding, engagement shoot, or other celebration - is an honor I take to heart.

DANA NGUYEN
Known for her attention to detail and expertise in soft glam and modern makeup trends. Dana brings a fresh, creative touch to every look she creates. Her passion for beauty artistry ensures every client feels their absolute best. With a background in nursing, her ability to care for others, listen attentively to your needs and maintain professional demeanor under pressure - all qualities that shine in her work.
About our style
Of all the styles I do for my clients, "soft glam" is the most popular style and also my favorite look to do on myself.
"Soft glam" is a look that is in between a completely natural makeup style and "full glam" as know as a full, glamorous look with bold colors or color blocking, and facial sculpting. A natural look defines your features without major changes or this sort of sculpting. It requires minimal makeup and is the best choice for your everyday makeup routine.
For "soft glam" I use more neutral, softer shades and blur, smudge and blend the product so as not to leave any harsh lines. This looks accentuates your natural beauty, skin tone, and features and adds a pop that will make you stand out at your special event!
